Thanks for all the help. Changing connection over from TRS to TS helped somewhat but hiss still present. Any particular sound card or specific manufacturer you would recommend? BTW, what is the thing plugged into your 58?

Hi. I love this program. Just trying out the live mic feature for the first time. Using an SM 58 with a wind screen, going from XLR to mini TRS. Getting a very annoying hiss.
