wow not one answer. settings right, bought mic audacity & headphones in a package, used friends comp. then moved, plus found a help entry that said pc inferior always an echo w/some systems. so i found my problem u guys don't know shit

I ran Audacity on an Apple, perfect from the moment I plugged in. Now have an XP, always an echo if I want to overlap or just listen while recording OR just have mic on for sound check.
