I have installed 1.36 on several Win 2000 PC's and can confirm that the FFMPEG plugin works on none of them and gives the "Failed to find compatible FFmpeg libraries" when you try to add them in the Audacity prefs. No such problems in Win XP, so I am assuming there is a compatibility issue with FFME...
