Kanye west effect?
Im a big Kanye fan, and i noticed a lot of his songs from "808's and Heartbreak" have a sort of distinctive effect.
I am not talking about Autotune but for example: "Love lockdown" and "Amazing" sound kind of muffled and a little distorted...what effect is that? If you know, i'd appreciate it.

Yes it is based on that.
And i know how he got a second voice on it, but how does he get that vocal effect? if you listen carefully then you can hear that the second voice has an particular effect on it? it sounds....sorta like..."cold"?

Narration effect
I'm doing a commercial for my film class (and im the narrator), and i need an effect. The effect is the one from Mortal Kombat, where the announcer shouts: "Fatality!" and it sounds really cool. Well im looking for that effect. Is that something that can be done in audacity? Its sort of like the "L"...

Re: What effect is this?
I presume that you are using Antares Auto-tune? If so, you may be better asking on their forum - I don't use Antares Auto-tune because it does not support my operating system. I'm not even sure if Antares Auto-tune supports MIDI modulation at all but if it does, then to achieve that effect you stil...

Re: What effect is this?
Well i have tried to turn the vibrato way up but that only seemed to make it sound more natural?steve wrote:The Lil Wayne "warble" is probably created by using vibrato on the MIDI note.
