Re: ASIO Multi Client Wrapper
I've tried Jack with Audacity, and it works perfectly. Only silly thing is that every time I start to record I have to pause to connect the MIDI synthesiser to Audacity, because Audacity isn't listed when not playing or recording, and the program doesn't seem to remember the previous configuration, ...

Re: Can't load FFMPEG with newly compiled Audacity [SOLVED]
Try this specific build of FFmpeg: http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/win32/shared/ffmpeg-2.2.2-win32-shared.7z . That one is known to work in Audacity without ASIO enabled. Gale I use this one with ASIO enabled (although no current sound card of mine actually uses ASIO at the moment, shouldn't matte...

Re: Can't load FFMPEG library with newly compiled Audacity
Exactly what version of Audacity have you compiled? If you compiled HEAD, Audacity will require a shared build of FFmpeg 1.2 or later. Try http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ . Gale I've compiled the HEAD version, yet none of those libraries can be loaded. I've decided to (temporary?) give up ASIO in...

Re: ASIO Multi Client Wrapper
http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=35921 may be relevant. You could try recompiling Audacity with the changes mentioned there. Let us know. Gale Now the frequency doesn't get set to 192000 Hz, but I still can't use the Multi Client Wrapper, but I guess there isn't much to do about i...

Can't load FFMPEG with newly compiled Audacity [SOLVED]
I'm using my self-compiled Audacity version with ASIO support and, even though I don't receive any errors, the FFMPEG library isn't loaded and I can't open any FFMPEG supported file. When I try to load the library from the Preferences menu it just won't load it, without showing any messages. Lame on...

Re: ASIO Multi Client Wrapper
Both Audacity's default frequency, the project's frequency and Windows default frequency are set to 48000 Hz, but Audacity temporary sets it to 192000 Hz when initialising the ASIO device. I also have another problem but I guess I should make another thread for that.

ASIO Multi Client Wrapper
I managed to compile Audacity with ASIO support, and everything works fine selecting the ASIO4All device, but when I attempt to select the Multi Client Wrapper (that would allow Audacity to share control of the sound card with a low latency MIDI Synthesiser) it crashes. Now, I've noticed that when s...

Re: VST Effects 8192 samples delay
This is with all VST Effects, and not just with this version of Audacity, it always did it. Anyway I'm using Audacity 2.0.1 on Windows XP Professional (x64), and I'm using several VST effects, the ones I use the most are Antares Audio ones (Autotune and all the tools) and some freeware VST as kn0ck0...

Re: VST Effects 8192 samples delay
I already do that but I use the effect several times for few seconds, so it's really annoying.
