See above queston: My devise input only has options for Microsoft Sound Mapper, Internal Mic, Stereo Mix and External Mic. How do I select the USB device as the Recording Input in the Device...

Still there. I had two sets of stereo tracks when I closed it to try again. Tried the Rescanned Auto Devise, I got an extra set of stereo tracks. Noticed Overdub was checked. Because I didn't remember seeing it checked before I thought it may have created the extra tracks so I uncheced and Rescanned...

When I hit record on Audacity I get this horribly loud "submarine" sound only--no music is heard at all. I had this the first time and somehow fixed it and recorded fine, but now I can't do anything to fix this. Am using Windows Vista and have followed all Audacity's trouble shooting / help advice. ...
