Double arrow seems to stop me from recording? in the time line, there is a double arrow that I just can't seem to remove.. i am trying to do an append record and it will not allow the cursor to more in record or play?

It was working but there was a power failure earlier while I was working?

I want to record on just one stereo track, playing different tracks from logic but each time I stop recording and try to record again, no overdub, it creates a new track? so ...
