Have you already a basic Biab sgu file?
I'd like to give it a listen (although my Biab is somewhat outdated).

Re: Virtual Session Musicans needed

But did he ever do it virtually? Koz It is of course quite another thing to do it virtually instead of live. I always loved the moments when my band had the same "flow" at the same time. Not to mention the feedback waves from the audience when on stage. Nevertheless, an interesting projec...

Re: Automatic Frequency Generation by Spreadsheet?

I assume that it is rather a screen reader issue on my system.
WXWidgets do not behave very well under certain circumstances, in particular when it comes to accessibility requirements and compatibility. .

Re: Automatic Frequency Generation by Spreadsheet?

I think the text box limit is about 32768 characters. If that is the case on your machine, then it may be platform dependent, or it may not just be a character count limit. I've just tried pasting code into the Nyquist Prompt effect which included 4 extremely long comments (> 30000 characters per c...

Re: Removing background vocals from Audacity recording?

You could also use a Noise gate on your track to attenuate the audio that is leaking in. Here's an example sound with 4 parts. 1. The male track with some female crossover. 2. The same track after noise gating. 3. The first mix-down with audible echo 4. The final Mix-down of the noise-gated male tra...

Re: Automatic Frequency Generation by Spreadsheet?

Great! Thank you, it works perfectly. Is there a way/workaround to increase the maximum amount of lines the nyquist window can take at once? It cuts off the pasted code if there are more then ~500 lines I think the text box limit is about 32768 characters. Thus the limit is not defined by actual li...

Re: Automatic Frequency Generation by Spreadsheet?

That's no problem. You can directly produce executable code within the spreadsheet and paste in the nyquist prompt to produce a sound in Audacity. What program do you use? I'm only familiar with Excel. However, the formulas needed are so simple that it will be the same in most applications. Let's sa...

Re: Removing background vocals from Audacity recording?

The problem is that your voice hasn't the same phase (different reflections and arrival times) in both recordings, thus a single alignment won't work. You can try the following: - Duplicate your track. - Align it with your girlfriends track. - Make a single stereo track out of it. - Use a Stereo voc...

Re: Help me fix this audio

I struggled so much with this piece of audio, my purpose was to upload game play to Youtube but also I've had chances to practice with Audacity. I played the audio on other computers and it sounded differently, I would say just normal. Then I checked the computer I'm working on, the Windows Media P...
