Re: Improved seeking
I have improved my patch again. I have also implemented "scrubbing" of a sort, for CTRL-drag. Try this! http://audacity.238276.n2.nabble.com/Patch-Seeking-and-quot-scrubbing-quot-tt7564841.html As for "complaints," I wasn't really complaining, just remarking on a minor inconsist...

Re: Editing in Real Time
i suppose by editing in real time i was referring to equalizers and compressors, like changing the settings to hear how they sound while the file is playing so you know if it works or not. Well, Audacity 2.0.7 will have that feature if it passes testing. After adjusting the settings, you apply them...

Re: Help With Vocal Audio Clip
I'll give you a simple example why it is so complicated: Imagine a simple addition: 30 + 20 = 50 If you have one of the other variables, it's quite simple to get: 50 - 20 = 30 The "Blind" means that you do not have a second argument, thus you have 50 -0 49 -1 48 -2 .... The value "30&...

Those are just the warnings I've encountered too.
Caused by the Realtime Effects implementation I suppose?

Re: Display label count
If (as a test) the above did not work (and it probably did not)...I have made a first tab at TrackInfoAx but really have no understanding of how to test it with a screen reader. I just put the "this is a test" string into the built-in GetDescription. patch attached (Warning - this patch i...

Re: Display label count
I have no TrackInfo.h/cpp in the source directory 'C:Audacity'. Should those definitions go into TrackPanelAx.*? My bad! TrackPanel.h/cpp. In my defense, with the exception of a couple of very small classes whose definitions and declarations (headers and C++ files) are very short, almost every clas...

Re: Display label count
If we add this new function (Get Description) to TrackInfo.h at or near line number 100: class AUDACITY_DLL_API TrackInfo { public: TrackInfo(wxWindow * pParentIn); ~TrackInfo(); int GetTrackInfoWidth() const; void UpdateSliderOffset(Track *t); wxAccStatus GetDescription(int WXUNUSED(childId), wxSt...

Re: Display label count
Hi Edgar, thanks for taking the time. Your guesses are very close to the truth. (NVDA uses Python as script language, JAWS has a proprietary script language that is similar) I can get the object with focus very simple (from a script or the python console): FocusObject = api.getFocusObject() and from...

Re: Display label count
Hi Edgar, I'm just trying to make the Label tracks more accessible to screen readers. It works somewhat but the main problem is that all tracks appear the same. I can't tell if a label track or a audio track has focus. That's a typical description for a track--just a row of the track panel window in...

Re: Help With The Vocal Removal Tool
That's actually a dual mono file.Username! wrote:Sorry to bring this back up. Is there anything I can do to remove the last bit of audio and static?
The stereo width is less than 1 %.
Search for a proper stereo edition of this movie (if available).
