Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
you choose an action and under options - instead of "Return Audio" the entry "Help on selected Action". Unfortunately that means there is no "context help" for the options "Return Audio, Play and return, Play only, Play Left, Play Right, Analyze". I count a t...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
In the new version you have on line 12: ;; v1.0 July, 1st 2013d EOT where [EOT] is "End of transmission" (ASCII code 4). I've removed the "d" and the EOT characters in the attached version so that line 13 is now: ;; v1.0 July, 1st 2013 [...] I think that the Analyze output messa...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
How about including a contextual help for each Action? I mean two additional entries in the Options multi choice control: - "Help on selected Action" - "General Help" The first one gives a description for each of the 17 entries and the latter describes all that's remaining. Of c...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Thanks Gayle and Steve for your view points. Sorry, when I do not quote - it is a pain without a mouse. This plug-in must really be seen as a production tool for creating special effects in podcasts and audio dramas. In fact, there are a lot specials not included in your version such as Doppler effe...

Re: Audacity as an aid to Harmony Singers
Nice that we could be of some help. The loading shouldn't take too long - the files are already converted to a wav format within the Audacity project. I have a whole disk that is reserved for those projects. The solo and mute states are also saved - if you want to do so. However, once a project is c...

Thank you Steve,
There's a "truncate" missing (the former control was an integer one).

Re: Audacity as an aid to Harmony Singers
Koz is surely right. Just stay in Audacity for playback and so on. Import the tracks and save the whole bunch as an Audacity project with the appropriate song title. You can now rename the imported tracks to show the voice register only (in the track drop down menu). You only need the export feature...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Thanks for the update, Robert. I still think the isolation is excellent but equally I think this will still be very hard to use for most unless we can tweak the presentation and add help screens (or remove everything except isolation and removal). Who is it intended for ? For Isolation/Removal: Par...

Re: Audacity as an aid to Harmony Singers
Indeed, it is as simple as that. You can open the import dialog with Ctrl-Shift-I. You can import all 4 tracks in a single step - just select them with the mouse or Shift-Up/Down. After muting (or soloing) the tracks you can press Play (Spacebar) for play back. You can also play a certain selection....
