Thanks kozikowski. It works now

I'm trying to record something on my piano and after a few seconds the audio get's all wacky - almost like a hollow sound.
I tried just recording myself humming to see if it was my piano. It's not.
Any suggestions? Audacity used to work fine for me up till a month ago.
