I can't hear the "music" playing thru the headphones to sing with it. I can hear it when I do just playback but when I hit record to sing with it I can't hear anything. It's hard to sing with something I can't listen to. As I said before I have recorded this way numeous times using the same computer...

I am using Audacity 1.3, I am recording from a microphone plugged in via usb port. I have imported audio that is on my computer and am trying to record to that but cannot hear it.
