Hello I have just recorded a really nice 3 hour mix but it seems Audacity recorded Facebook bleeps which it has never previously done, which is kind of annoying. Any idea why it might have done that? I know next time to close any such offending websites when recording. I would like to release this m...

Re: Not recording sound.
Its an American Audio mixer MX-1400 DSP. I have it plugged into my speaker socket (the green one on my computer) and record outlets on my mixer. Output things say: MME Realtek Digital Output Stereo Mix (Realtek High Definition) 2 (stereo) input I was going to put a screenshot in but wasn't sure how.

Please Check The Input Device Settings & The Project Sample
...rate
Hi
I have recently bought a new Windows 7 PC and I am trying to get audacity to record the output from my mixer, however I keep getting a message saying to check the input device settings and the project sample rate.
What does this mean?
I am totally baffled.
Many thanks
James
