Re: [2.0.0/Win] Extracting sound from SWF file?
If your computer supports it, you could try playing the SWF file in a suitable player program and then capture the sound from "Stereo Mix".

Re: Help with Audio Levels
Throughout this dialogue, VoxDeos has always spoken of a USB AudioBox. Everyone else seems to have been talking about an AudioBox that is analogue connected. Has somebody overlooked something - or have I totally misunderstood one or both parties?

Re: Submit your EQ Curves
I can confirm that Windows 7 treats a file name as "case insensitive": PGA.txt = pga.txt = PgA.txt = pGa.txt, and so on.Gale Andrews wrote: I vaguely remember we said "not possible"?

Re: I Need Help Installing!
But, nothing ever starts installing. If all you are doing is saving the downloaded file, nothing will start automatically. Assuming you have downloaded the installer.exe, you now need to double-click that file to start the installation process. I have no experience with the .zip file download but s...

Re: Default Program File Association Problem
Bam. Thankyou. I wasnt aware ccleaner could solve this issue or I would've done it earlier. Out of curiosity, what's the technical reason for why this works? You added an item of personal customization to the Registry (associating the .WAV files with your installed copy of Audacity). When you unins...

Re: Testing Recording Equipment: How should I choose?
Thanks for the fast reply, here you go... Setup 1: Zoom H2n (Save as 24/96 WAV, then edit the file accordingly in Audacity; will scale down to a Zoom H1 due to budget) I've no experience of the H2n or the H1 but I do have an early H4 and am delighted with it. I use it for all my voice-over work and...

Re: Djm 800 to Sony VPCC laptop
Am i doing somethign wrong or have i missed something? Yes, you are feeding a high strength line level signal into a jack socket ("Mic in") that is expecting a teeny weeny low strength signal. It will inevitably overload. You'll need to wait for one of the senior elves to come along and offer pract...
