Re: swap channels of selected audio

Run the VST so that it processes one channel. Then use the commands in the Track Details drop down menu to split the stereo track, change the Left channel to right and the right channel to left, move the new left channel above the new right channel, select the top of this pair and use the Track Deta...

Re: Error message

What are the output device settings and the project sample rate please...? Steve has answered the output device part of your question... The Project Sample rate is the value in the field at the lower left of the Audacity main window. Technically, it is the number of samples per second used to digit...

Re: Exporting a copy of waveforms to ppt

I just want to copy the waveform and put it onto a slide. You mean you want to put an image of the Audacity window, showing the graphic display of the waveform, onto a Powerpoint slide? Re: what should my computer settings be at?

Hi, You have two possible better options than using the microphone to capture the CDs. Option 1 - Record from "Stereo Mix" (see this manual entry for how to set that up: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Tutorial_-_Recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer) Option 2 - Use CD ripping software (Windows...

Re: Dealing with Disappearing Clip

I, too, have been trying to understand what exactly happened. What do you mean by "Delete button"? Audacity doesn't have a Delete button. You can "Cut", "Trim" or "Silence" using the buttons on the Edit Tool Bar. Did you mean one of these? If so, which one?
