Re: Please help me record streaming sound

@clydevins, For the moment forget about Realtek. If you have not activated Stereo Mix in Windows you will never see it in Realtek. I know this to be true as I have just proven this on my Win 7 system. I cannot give you XP specific instructions but on Windows 7 you would proceed as follows to try and...

Re: Please help me record streaming sound

Recursive Pathway Recording... can cause problems with other services such as straight recording and conferencing which is why Vista and Win7 left it out. Koz, I'm sorry but I have to take issue with you on the part of that statement that I have emboldened and italicized. I have always been able to...

Re: Buttons all showing as Pause symbol.

@Gale, I'm chipping in with one of my "off the wall" thoughts. This chap has done 15 full installs and not one server-side install with 15 "hook-ups" hasn't he? From the posts, it is not 100% clear to me what the answer to that question is. With your detailed knowledge of Audacity, you are in a bett...

Re: Exporting a project to a stereo WAV

You possibly have all tracks centre panned? If you pan at least one track to left or right, it should then export as stereo.

Re: Tracks missing from exported mp3 file

Another possibility: did you have some of the tracks muted? Muted tracks are not exported.
