That's where re-writeable media comes in handy! You use the same one over and over again until you get it right. I have a small pack of CD-RWs and a small pack of DVD-RWs just for that very purpose.

No problem found when applying the 12% values using Audacity 2.0.1 running under Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

It seems to be "as and when there are enough bug fixes and enhancements to make it worthwhile". Remember, this isn't a corporate entity, just a bunch of very talented and enthusiastic individuals beavering away in their spare time.

It seems unlikely but could it be something peculiar to just that one WAV (a bad rip perhaps)? Would it be possible to upload the WAV to a hosting service so that others can try and reproduce the problem?
