When using Audacity, I use File > Open When trying to copy, I use Windows Explorer The reason I think it is an Audacity problem is because it started when I installed 1.3.13. After I installed 1.3.13, I opened one of my older projects. Audacity gave me a warning that if I saved this project with 1.3...

Yes, I am the administrator and I have restarted windows, logged off and then logged on again and still all the data files are not available to Audacity or Windows explorer. I have even reinstalled Audacity. I created a new project in Audacity and saved it. This project is available to open.

It seems like all the data files in all my data folders are locked. I can't access any data file.

I tried to copy the Data Folder and got an error on the first data file saying access denied.

I am running XP Professional SP3. The error is "Can't open file 'C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDocumentsSounds20111101_datab00429.au'(error 5: access denied.) I have tried other files as well and they all do the same.

I installed 1.3.13 on my computer. I also have 1.2.6 installed that I have used for a few years. After installing 1.3.13, I can no longer access any of my files with 1.2.6. I get error 5 access denied. I uninstalled 1.3.13 and I still cannot access all my old files. Any suggestions would be apprecia...
