actually no i think it always speeds up and i have to edit the tempo by -0.800 every time to make sure it fits in

yeah i already tried to pan the track.
and yeah im talking about one side of a stereo track.
any ideas??

im playing along to a beat track which i imported.
but it does the same thing whether im playing along to something or not, but you cant notice it as easily.

STEREO TRACK PROBLEM!

i have a stereo track that only has sound on the left side of the track, and therefore only plays through the left speaker.
is there any way to correct this? for example to get the same sound on both sides of the track?

Recording live is a problem.

When i record live using a keyboard/ guitar into my pc, once ive finished the recording (eg clicked the stop record button) audacity for some reason slightly speeds up/ slows down what i have just recorded so it does not go in time with what i was recording along to, despite the fact that i was dead...
