Re: WAV file extension changes to "file", not WAV

I went to the WAV files that just said file and typed .WAV for the extension and they changed right away and said WAV on them and had the blue music note like they're supposed to. Thanks for all the help.

Re: How do I record a CD from Audacity?

OK. I tried the Audacity program and it works really well. The CD I burned wont play in my boombox but will play on a portable CD player that doesn't play MP3s, so I guess the boombox is having problems. I guess I'm OK now. Thanks for the help, everybody!

Re: How do I record a CD from Audacity?

I have everything in WMP set for audio CDs but I still get the message NO DISC on my boombox. I tried a music CD I bought and it plays fine. Maybe I missed something?

Re: How do I record a CD from Audacity?

OK. Now I'm getting somewhere. The files are WAV files now and WMP will play them. I burned a CD using WMP but my boombox says NO DISC and won't play it. I tried transferring the files on the CD to my Zune MP3 player and they play fine on it. Do I have WMP set to burn MP3s or something? And for some...

Re: How do I record a CD from Audacity?

I right clicked on a file and sent it to WMP but a window popped up saying that it couldn't be played because it has AUP as the extension. What can I do now?

How do I record a CD from Audacity?

Hi. I have Audacity beta and am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I recorded some keyboard tracks into Audacity using the mic input and can play them back alright. They're in WAV form and all like they're supposed to be to go on a CD. They've been saved to a file but I don't know how to get them to ...
