I am using windows 7 and the audacity beta version 1.3.13 beta. I am able to play the song. I have not done anything on it. I move the top cursor right above the song and nothing. I select it and use the CUT within the Edit tab, and all the song disappears.

I just download this software. I am trying to take certain parts of a song, and placing them in different parts of a power point. Trying to take like the first 10 seconds of a song. Then use like the next 15 seconds of it and using it on a different slide. I have gone and read some of the instructio...
