Thx a lot, got it sorted now
The solution was very simple indeed, was the problem of the Mic input vs. Line input
I just swapped the input to Line and its perfect sound now

Ventrillo gives .vrf files, there's no other option .. These files can only be played within Ventrillo itself. I havnt found a program yet that is able to convert 'm to .wav, cause that's basicly what i was gonna use Audacity for; catching the played conversation that i recorded earlier to save it a...

Heya, I just started to use Audacity 1.3.5 beta. I'm using it to make mp3 files out of vrf files, to use 'm in movies. Yesterday i recorded a whole conversation between us, sound was perfect as i played the recorded file in ventrillo first. Then i started recording with Audacity and the voices sound...
