Re: Podcast editing

I don't have net framework 3.5 that seems to be the problem. Is this effect a part of the newer release of audacity?

Re: Podcast editing

Hi Irish and all,

I have downloaded the plug in moved it to the plugin directory but it does not appear in my effects menu? I have restarted audacity. There is only the standard compressor available. And after appluing it I didn't notice any important change (increased quality).

Re: Bug or my mistake?

The DC offset has appeared only in that particular podcast, its not something appearing every time, probably somebody's phone is not working properly or something like that. But the problem I talk about appears almost always. My conclusion is that audacity in this case can't do precise editing. I ne...

Podcast editing

Hi, I would like to hear from more experienced users here any advices on my problem. I am editing a podcast which is made by recording a free conference call. I use Gizmo to dial in and record the podcast. There are more people who participate from different sides, using different phones, cellphones...

Re: Bug or my mistake?

Hi Steve, yes you can not see the error but you could hear it definitely. I will try to reproduce it and record it in audio form and upload it so you can hear it. What is funny is that it never happens when I add the intro (begining of the podcast) but very often at the end when I add the "outro". I...

low pass filter and high pass filter

Is it counterproductive to use both filter at same time on one track? The result I get is better (or at least sounds better to me), but would like to know is this a good practice or not.
Thanks!

Re: Bug or my mistake?

Every picture has a short sentences bellow it, can you see that?
Also I think the problem appears if I try to do precise editing mp3 files like someone mentioned in the tread. What I need to do is to leave more space between the end of the podcast and the beginning of the intro.
Thank you.

Re: Bug or my mistake?

Its a podcast (phone conversation) recorded with a free service on the web, that is the reason for the low quality of the recording. But does this have anything with the problem I mentioned above?
