Re: Loooong reverb
Thank you very much. It worked way better than my early attempts. The winner is the leveler effect, i guess, because the result get much better after putting it, and that "wet only" track thing makes a lot easier to control the level of the effect. I didn't mean you took very long to answer. I was q...

Loooong reverb
Hi there, I can't achieve a certain effect and I decided ask for the audio masters of this incredible forum. Maybe you've heard it in other songs, but one example I've found is in the "The Brave One" soundtrack, by Dario Marianelli. He uses a very long reverberation on the piano part, in the first t...

Re: Advice on Mixing effect, please...
Thanks very much man,
It seems to be a very usual technique. I didn't know that name (ADT) ... that's why I couldn't find much information about it before. But as soon as I googled it with the proper name, I realized there's a lot of information on the subject.
Regards
Peter

Re: Advice on Mixing effect, please...
Hei stevethefiddle, It worked perfectly. Exactely what I was looking for. While looking for this answer, I've read somewhere that duplicating a track and inverting the phase of one of them would leave a "blank" space in between, so that other instruments could have more room in the mix. I've tried i...

Hello my friends, I'm an almost absolte beginner in home recording and I'd appreciate very much you help. I've heard a lot of recordings in which one can perfectly hear a single instrument in both channels (L and R), with almost exactely the same sound, e.g acoustic guitar. But when I try to duplica...
