Somewhere in the forum, a person suggested having Audacity come on right after boot up. I can't remember why but I thought I'd try it. So what did you do to make Audacity start right after boot up? I'm a bit confused about DACs. Will a good preamp do pretty much the same thing as a DAC ? Didn't want to buy one (just for recording tapes / records) if I don't need it.
