How About A Reverb For *Musicians*
I have tried and *tried* to use GVerb to no avail. I realize that tweakers abound out there who will adjust and control every last item of their reverb till death do them part, BUT us musicians would also greatly appreciate a reverb plug-in that's easy to use , as in "presets". It wouldn't have to b...

Re: Recording Volume too high
When the automatic transmission first appeared in cars, it only meant that you didn't have to manually shift gears anymore. It did NOT relieve you of the duty of being a safe and knowledgable driver. Yes, a little education is in order, especially seeing how you were greener than a shamrock your fir...

Re: SD card in ZOOM H4 - poor signal level on recording
Glad to hear that it was just the card and nothing else. Of course, if all else had failed, I would have mentioned the possibility of a factory dud. I own a Zoom H1 and am very happy with it, but, at one time, there were reports (true) of the H1 draining the batteries of power when the unit was POWE...

Re: compressor
Using a compressor , sparingly, can make your recordings "pop" with a little more "life" than what they would normally have. If you over-compress, you can mash the life ( dynamics ) out of your recording, so use it sparingly. 2: 1 ratio is usually a good place to begin. Make sure your track ( or tra...

Re: Mp3 saves at an EXTREMELY large file size
I am recording a podcast and when I export it to mp3 it saves at a very large file size (an hour long recording saved at 64 kbps is 25MB) IS there anything I can do to reduce it. I have searched and found no problem like this one. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall audio and to no avail. ...

Re: Adding drums section to a song
I've decided one day to make a song. Have written down lyrics, made some other plans and so on. I'm going to record almost everything with my keyboard, however ... I have not the slightest idea how I'm supposed to record the drums section. From obvious reasons I can't do it on a keyboard with my ba...

Re: marking edit points / scrub function?
If that DOES work for scrubbing, then cool!!!Transcriber wrote:
And with regard to "scrubbing", I'm not sure if this would accoumplish what you want, but you can select some portion of a track, then hit the space-bar, and it will just play that selected portion of the track.
