I just wanted to say thanks for the help that I got. But I figured out the problem on my own. One I needed to find the updated sound drivers for my sound card. Two only the outlets on the sound card will work.I am now able to record, and hear it also.

I wanted to send a picture of the Mic properties also. I hope you folks can help. I don't know why I am having such a problem.

I don't know how to make a screen shot. When I had the Recorder going,in the lower window that is under the cut button. I named it for the cassette I was trying to record. While the recorder was turned on that window had a red bar that kept going across that window. I can't get the recorder to work ...

Good evening folks. I am having trouble getting going on recording my cassettes. I am trying to use Audacity Beta. With Win7. I have the cassette player plugged into the Mic jack on the front of my computer. I have my Mic set as the Default Device in the sound window. I further have the front panel ...
