Yes, I did that. The prog recognises the Behringer USB audio and lists it as an available device. Only when I try to use it I get an 'Error while opening sound device' message. So I'm afraid I put my question wrongly. I should have said something like : "Audacity won't record from Behringer USB Link...

I'm using a Behringer USB guitar link and can't get Audacity 1.3, is it? the beta, the latest, to recognise it. Nor will the earlier version.

The Behringer works okay it seems, because my old edition of sound forge recognises it okay.

Any clues?
