Re: Help With Vocal Audio Clip
Ah, bad luck, eh. It sounded so different to the clip from the other forum and it's so unlike the traditional echo ' hello... hello.. hello.. ' that I thought maybe it was something a tad different giving some hope. I entertained thoughts of something like (being totally ignorant of the whole discip...

Help With Vocal Audio Clip
I've been looking for help removing room or hall 'echo' and have learned that's virtually impossible, apparently. But listening to a sample on one post I realise my track is very different. So perhaps there's hope for it. Not such a severe problem maybe. Can anyone help me with how I would best fix ...

Re: Can't Get ffmpeg and Lame recognised by Audacity
I'll try the upgrade. Not sure where I got it from. Might as well have the latest anyway. How about I send you the aac file and you see what you think is the best way to treat it? I just snatched the time and downloaded/installed latest audacity and it's picked up the file okay. that fixed it. i won...

Can't Get ffmpeg and Lame recognised by Audacity
I have Audacity 2.0.5 On Windows 7. I want to take the echo out of a video clip I got from youtube - it is mp4. When I take the audio out with Yamb I get an aac file which Audacity says it cannot load. Googling around I find I can install that ability so I do it. I now have Lame in the programfilesl...

Manuals....
I'm a totally new user. Somewhere online I was reading a manual and it was telling me how to record from those old 78rpm disks. And it said something about doing it a certain way to deal with clicks and scratches and surface noise... whatever... I didn't read it carefully... I was in a hurry to get ...

Won't Accept Latest Lame as Latest Lame
Yep, I'me using 1.3.x Beta and I've downloaded the latest Lame encoder from the site you link to, before I ever came here. Came here, saw your locked post about this, followed the link, found the same page I'd downloaded from. I have also done the trouble shooting routine - edited audacity.cfg and d...

Re: Doesn't Recognise Behringer USB Link
I tried this reply once but it apparently didn't work - unless there's a moderator delay in which case I'm posting twice... sorry. I've disabled the Behring in Device Manager (which caused it to disappear entirely from the list! So can't re-enable it.) and unplugged/replugged the Guitar Link. It was...

Re: Doesn't Recognise Behringer USB Link
Elsewhere I read about a method and I employed it. I disabled the Behring device in device manager and unplugged/replugged the thing - it got recognised by XP and now is usable. I can see it and use it in Audacity. If this method of operation is as good as anything then okay, that'll do. If the behr...

Re: Behringer Guitar Link UCG102 USB Interface
Is this advice still current in 2011?
Because my Guitar LInk won't work. Audacity can see it....
