A couple recording questions...
Hey guys... my band recently lost our ability to use a members Dad's studio... (kinda sucks). Anyway, we've just started recording in the church where we practice as there's lots of really good equipment there anyway. I just have a few questions for us, and for me as I plan on going into this busine...

So i'm trying to get the G-Snap Auto Tune to mess around with it... I have the file downloaded and all. But when I click on "Rescan for VST Effects", it won't save that preference, so it won't do that...

Re: Recording while listening to previous tracks (not workin
Hey guys, Overdub is on, Software Playthrough is off. All we did was plug headphones into the computer, and turn in to record from Line In instead of Stereo Mix. We also had headphones plugged in to the mixer, but that didn't matter. Thanks a lot guys, almost got a whole song tracked last night. Dan...

Re: Recording while listening to previous tracks (not workin
How does the mixer connect to the computer? USB or Line-In? I would guess either you are sending the "control room" output of the mixer to Audacity instead of the "main out" or "tape out" (maybe you also want to set the monitor controls on the mixer to listen to PFL (pre-fader level) and mute the p...

Recording onto a laptop
Hey guys, trying to record onto a laptop, from a good mixer... all the levels are set correctly and all that.
Problem is, when playing-back, the recording goes from normal, and then the music sounds very flat and/or dull, then goes back to normal, and keeps doing this.
Any suggestions?

Recording while listening to previous tracks (not working)
Hey guys, i'm not amazing with Audacity... and i've run into a bit of a problem... My band in trying to record some demo's, so when we actually are in the studio, it's easier for the engineer to hear and do whatever. Problem... say we track guitar, then we try and track drums while listening to the ...
