Hey guys... my band recently lost our ability to use a members Dad's studio... (kinda sucks). Anyway, we've just started recording in the church where we practice as there's lots of really good equipment there anyway. I just have a few questions for us, and for me as I plan on going into this busine...

So i'm trying to get the G-Snap Auto Tune to mess around with it... I have the file downloaded and all. But when I click on "Rescan for VST Effects", it won't save that preference, so it won't do that...

Any suggestions?

Also, I did try recording from a Line-In instead of Stereo mix.

It's windows 7. I thought maybe it was the speed of the Hard drive?

How does the mixer connect to the computer? USB or Line-In? I would guess either you are sending the "control room" output of the mixer to Audacity instead of the "main out" or "tape out" (maybe you also want to set the monitor controls on the mixer to listen to PFL (pre-fader level) and mute the p...

Hey guys, trying to record onto a laptop, from a good mixer... all the levels are set correctly and all that.

Problem is, when playing-back, the recording goes from normal, and then the music sounds very flat and/or dull, then goes back to normal, and keeps doing this.

Any suggestions?
