Thank you so much - both for the promptness of your reply and the excellent program. I've decided to begin again. I know what I did wrong. I renamed files and moved them to various folders.
I won't do that again.

All my files -saved in Audacity ( 1.3 beta (Unicode) will not open - instead I get the following message: Couldn't find the program data folder - I then get the file's string then: Unable to open project. This is true of all my Audacity files - none will now open, even though saved in the program it...
