Great, thanks a lot guys... I tried playing around with the equalizer but I can't really seem to get the clip to sound any closer to the song... so I'm going to play around later with cleaning up the noise and trying again.

So I guess a first step would be to update to 1.3.x? I forgot to mention that I'm using 1.2.6, the thought hadn't occurred to me that the beta might have something closer to what I need...

Hi all! I'm not sure if this is a simple problem or not... I've been trying to find a solution for some time now, with no success. Hopefully someone can offer some insight. I have two different recordings of the same song. One has a slight skip in it, so I want to replace that exact part of the song...
