Thanks for the help, however I still can't work out how to change it to stereo mix on 1.3. I think I'm just being stupid...

Drop down box that includes stereo mix etc. not working
Recently downloaded Audacity and would like to change the settings to 'stereo mix', however the drop down menu that this is in is not highlighted and does not open when I click on it. Do I need to activate/click on something for this to work?
