Audacity Forum

im trying to use killerringer, and it makes no difference weather or not i have it in any of those folders (but it might not think that a .dll file is anything). Audacity still crashes if i have the vst-enabler in the plugin folder.

Sorry i got this in the wrong forum. It still is not working, i even tried version 1.3.3. I still want to use a vst plugin. (and what do you do if the vst plugin is a .dll?)

i am using version 1.2.6, and i have NO vst plugins in those folders or in the plug-ins folder.
All i did was add the vst-enabler.so to the plugins folder.

Whenever i try and put the vst enabler in the plugins folder, and start audacity. it takes a long time to start, will not activate or show a window, and it took 3 tries to get it to force quit. And it has no effects when i start it otherwise, why is it doing this? Mac 10.3.9, ppc g3.
