Thanks to you both for the advice! I have one machine running Win 7 64 bit that can be upgraded immediately. But my other 'work' machine is a old HP used notebook running XP. If I understand correctly, that one should be left with the stable release for now.

Sorry if this is redundant, couldn't find an answer in the FAQ. Is there an estimated date of transition?
