Audacity Forum

i need to create longer file names. also, the mp3 id tags truncate some fields at 30 characters. can these be longer, too?

Hi, Forgive me if there's already a thread about this (I hunted around some, but I don't know the forum well, yet). I'm using MAC 10.6.7 and Audacity 1.2.5 When I'm trying to name a saved or exported file and I hit the space bar to add a space between words of the file name, the file starts playing....
