Stream is active ... Unable to gather information ...?
Win 7.1, Audacity v 2.06 This was running many moons ago but now it shows the incoming signal in the meters and in the audio track. However, it shoes only 6 seconds of wave form then the line is flattened and the next 6 seconds show. Time is passing on the track but even if I stop the "recording" th...

I forget if I used the Installer or by download.) Any pull down menu used to select are blank. I can use the ...

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
Let me correct my previous post relative to version. What ever version I had last Sunday was in use for a while and remained in use until a few days later when I uninstalled and installed the 2.0.6 version. The version in use on Sunday could have been 2.0.5 but I doubt there is anyway for me to know...

I cannot find a location to ask questions about this forum.
My question is: How do I find my profile to make changes?
I am logged in but just don't see the option to edit.

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
yes, This was working last Sunday. Something burped between Monday morning and when I cleaned out the Temp folder and caused all this. No change in Audacity version was involved.

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
I did not see that it was a message from within Audacity but I guess it is. It does seem that it is trying to import a file as audio and it clearly is not. I wonder how it changed from implement to import. When I clicked on the HELP button, it does discuss types of audio files to import.

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
2.0.6 and it is a new installation. I uninstalled it after the problems showed up and reinstalled it to see if there was a corruption or something gone wrong. I had been running this long before the TS stopped communicating with Audacity. As a test, I moved the script file to c: to check for a path ...

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
Yes, that was a typo. It should have been and not ]
First hurdle has been solved. Maybe the system is moving a bit faster lately and that is what may have been causing the first failure. Now I have to figure out why Audacity does not seem to want to see au3 files.

Re: Task Scheduler no longer talks to Audacity
The maximize and minimize options did nothing for me but I did find something that is much more bizarrer. I was trying to see if the file had actually been called by the TS. In the AudacityInit.xml file, I added " <command> echo Here I am </command> " just before the command in the 4th to last line....
