I thought about that but when I save, exit, and bring the recording back, the delays are still there.

So far, yes. Only with Audacity and only on one of two Win 10 computers.

I will be recording in Mono for all instances of Audacity. How do I set this as default so that I do not have to make changes every time I start the program?

Yes, I finally found the audio drivers.
When my second computer updated to Win 10, the drivers were automatically installed and Audacity worked without any adjustment. I guess that Win 10 has been updated at the source and I did not have to install anything.

Yep, I found it about 10 minutes before I read your post. It was a change in the Temp folder.
Seems to me that an error should have popped up, no?
Oh well, it is still a great program.

I have over 177G free on the drive reported when I hit "Save As" however, I do see that A is not reporting hours left of recording time.

I will upgrade to 2.1.1 and report back. Maybe just a reinstall will do it.

Nothing is recording, the audio level is strong all the time.
The meter is always indicating the presence of the signal.

Audio track shows up to 6 seconds of signal then it goes flat.
