It's got to have something with the turntable. Hum or muffled sound is an analog problem and Audacity is just "capturing" the digital data that's coming-in on the USB bus. Greetings, I am receiving a very loud hum over USB while attempting to record/input from my Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable (w/Shure M97xE Stylus).
