I did not get a pop up when I plugged in the tape recorder in the blue socket! What should I do?

I am still struggling with pssing my cassette to CD, My Computer has four devices as recording devices: One the Microphone High Definiton Audio at the front of the computer( pink) The second one is also Microphone High Definiton Audio the pink on the back, then another Microphone High Definiton Audi...

I tried doing it that way, the interesting part is that theb sounds around get recording, one thing for sure I do not get to hear the cassette playing through the computer, what should I do so this happens, please tell me step by step, Thank you all!
