Hi, from what you are saying it's most likely a problem with Audacity then with MP3 export. I will switch to 1.3.12. many thks for your help and suggestion

Random glitches recording
Hi, I use Windows Vista and I frequently find glitches in the final mp3 file. The record doesn't show any glitches, and I confirmed that by recording and listening the record at the same time to make sure that the record audio was fine. My USB turntable is a Numark TTUSB.
