I have loaded all the files ( aup & data files ) onto a memory stick. How do I trigger the aup file to tie them together when downloading to my home computer (open into audacity)?? I apologize for my lack of experience..

I've tried everyone's suggestions / no success..................watched last night as it was recording - the cursor bar (?) that used to scroll smoothly as it recorded seems to jerk along, then after saving the session, it splits all my recording into (literally) thousands of 6 second files............

I wasn't exporting it as audio, but taking it as a aup file so I could edit it at home..........the change is that it was one file for the evening unless I stopped & re-started the recording ( if I paused recording, it stayed one file).. for some reason, after saving , when I try to reload, it's bec...

I have been recording my band at our studio, then copying the evening onto a memory stick, bringing it home for editing & burning to CD................which worked fine for a month or so, For some reason. now , when I save the evenings recording, instead of one file, it's saving in mini segments 1mi...

Great, I'll update after I get the files home to work on ~ much more comfortable here to spend the time I'll need re-learning the editing process. Took me a number of tries to get the balances right between my mini-mixer & recording volume on Audacity so as not to overdrive.............I've still go...

I'll be trying this tomorrow. The computer at the studio has windows XP & no internet access, so it would be difficult to update to V1.3........can XP support it??

I have Audacity 1.2 running on a windows XP at my studio which I|'m using to record my band. I would like to download my files on 16 Gig flash drive, move them to Audacity 1.3 on a Windows 7 system at home to work on (separate tracks, clean up, send to CD)... Is this feasable????
