Audacity Forum

I'm using 1.3.12-7 on Ubuntu 10.10 and the pull down menus have all vanished. Does anyone know how to get them back or what I've done wrong?

*update* - I should add I'm pretty new to Linux after a decade on Macs, so and not yet familiar with how it all works.
