Not exactly what I meant. The key is, perhaps, that I reprogrammed the "x" key to Delete audio. After Ctrl-X or Ctrl-Z for that matter is pressed, pressing the "x" key with any audio selected (or not) will delete all audio. It will go away after a few minutes.

The sound was also stutterring in the sound tests you provided. I lowered the sound card output bitrate from 24 bit 192000 to 16 bit 44100. That may have helped as well. Though I am noticing a slight speed improvement overall since I uninstalled norton. At any rate, no more stuterring.

Yah I feel kindof dumb now, because un-installing Norton solved the problem....I think...We'll see how it pans out after I use it for a little while.

No, and the problem isn't with recording. That goes just fine. The problem is with playback. When I am listening to the pre-recorded audio file, the sound "blips" during playback, although there are no such artifacts in the actual recording. When I record I always use the line-in on my computer. Tho...

Hello All, I have been experiancing alot of stutterring during playback of audio files. It sounds like there are "blips" in the recording, but if I play back over the audio, the blips will be in different places.
