and it is possible to configure Audacity to store temporary data in RAM, so in some situations it would be easy to run out of RAM by sequentially opening projects.
I do not recommend you to do this if you have small RAM otherwise computer may stop responding.

I tried to download from audacityteam.org/files/audacity-macosx-1.3.5b.dmg, but server returns “Page Not Found”, this link doesn’t work.
