Have you tried rolling back the machine update? Roll it back, recover the work and then do the update.

Re: Unable to open project files
I assume in my original Audacity app there must have been a management file which would have organised my 2048 audio clips. Right. That's the AUP file. This is one complete project. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/MyMusicAUP-MyMusic_DATA.jpg The project manager and the folder have to have the sa...

Re: echo during listening
If you are recording a live microphone you have to use good quality, sealed headphones. You can't listen to yourself on speakers.

Re: echo during listening
I'm not sure I understand the problem. You can get an echo if you record a live microphone and listen to the audacity playback at the same time. That's machine latency and that's normal.

Re: Gap near beginning of Time Record--v2.2.2
Just to be crystal clear, the audio isn't missing. A blank gap has been inserted. You can, in post production, move the second segment earlier to "cover up" the gap and you can't tell there was ever anything wrong? That's very different from Audacity failing to record a small portion of th...

Re: Brand new and hoping for feedback
upgrade my equipment And that, in one sentence may be the one place your quality judgements may fall apart. There is a difference between the two clips, mostly caused by the rumble filter in one missing from the other. Can you tell Test 2 is very slightly less "ballsy" than Test 1? That's...

Not if you and ACX are happy with the work. All we're going to do is tell you stuff you already know.Oh, also, did you still want that sound clip?

Re: signal processed feedback
My guess is no, or at least not easily. The classic feedback howl in a club happens when the sound system isn't perfect. The system takes off at the loudest pitch. You tend to recognize it instantly because the Shure SM58 rock band microphone has an efficiency boost at roughly 3000 Hz. That's where ...
