Re: windows 7 issue
You can't just drag the music out of iTunes and onto the desktop?
This is going to start oozing out of my world. I'm on a Mac.

Re: Dropouts consistantly at 24 and 48 minutes every recordi
There are flavors of dropout. Zoom into one of the dropouts, drag-select it (include some sound on both sides), Export WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit and post it on the forum. Scroll down from a forum text window > Upload Attachment....... If it's a stereo show, you can't go over 10 seconds; mono, 20 second...

Re: Submitting to ACX?
It's "old school" but it gets me pretty good noise floors and minimal post-processing. "New School" is a little rough to watch. There is a British VLOG where the performers shoot outside and a good fraction of the time the voices are inaudible from wind noise. They went to sever...

Re: windows 7 issue
How much did you pay for it? The 99c tunes I think are still restricted as to what you can do. The $1.29 songs are available for editing and production. They're higher quality and you're paying for the license.what happened where I cannot edit my music anymore.

Re: Instrumental Removal
Audacity can't take apart a mixed performance into individual instruments, voices or sounds. Once it's mixed, that's the end. Sometimes you can get some of the more expensive packages to do that, but if your show is an MP3 or other compressed format, the compression distortion will make that rough t...

Ding! Screen Shot 2018-06-02 at 14.03.01.png So if the poster got this to work at all, it was a serendipitous mistake and that could explain why it's such a trial to get it to happen again. Further, it's a terrific bet that the transfers until now may have two blue waves, but I'm betting the show is...

Re: Submitting to ACX?
It is only a matter of time before you have a project get corrupted. What he said. 1. Compression, 2. Limiter, 3. ACX Check. And you can get away with that if you have a pro microphone system or microphone that doesn't introduce rumble distortion and you're recording in a dead-quiet, echo-free room...

Re: windows 10
Audacity doesn't directly support ASIO. Having your ASIO fail is not a problem. If you are recording via an ASIO device please come back with the details as there are some potential issues with the updated default drivers which windows update may have installed.
