I see what happened. Low Rolloff is a preset.

Re: How Can I View EQ Settings Of A Project?
My Effects > Equalization seems to hang on to the last known good curve seemingly forever—or until I change it. It's had Low Rolloff on there for a week, through multiple restarts and a machine backup. What happens if you just open up Audacity, Generate noise (or something) and Effect > Equalization...

Re: scarlett solo studio & audacity for dubbing
My harmonica sounds a bit "thin" or "tinny" You should look for and turn off Windows sound processing. https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements The processing is there to help with voices in conferencing or chat. It hates music. I had t...

Re: mixing audacity with pics
While there are odd techniques for melting graphics and sound together, the simplest way is find a video editor and throw stills at it over a sound track. Export in MP4. That's what we recommend when somebody has to patch a video sound track. We can open and fix the sound, but we need a video editor...

Re: Before I begin narration
Rode NT-USB and MacBook Air MBAs do have a fan. I thought for a long time my Air didn't and then one day I overloaded FireFox. More open tabs than one person aught to have. The machine started to get warm and the tiny fan went on. .....eeeeeEEEEEEE. I would not be good for that to happen in the mid...

Re: Before I begin narration
you can figure out the country based on the hum. More like the continent rather than the country. There's only two major ones, so basically, we can tell if you're in the US or not. I had nightmares of trying to record in the dark.... Candles don't make noise. Tungsten Incandescent (regular light bu...

Re: Before I begin narration
You sailed past the ACX technical requirements and you have a very pleasant presenting voice. You are the poster child for doing this as a real job.just recording a book as a favor for a friend, and maybe a couple more for other friends if this works out OK.

Oh. One more. I don't know if ACX has provision to submit a test. Their requirements change a bit over time. If you find out, please post back.

I pushed the clip through the mastering suite.
