I doubt it. Even when I select all the tracks they only delete one at a time.

You have a separate WAV protection copy of the work or a back up Project, right? Press Shift-R (start a new track) and see if it makes it past 3:22. You don't even have to perform. Just let it go. It sounds like Audacity is running out of room to do the work. That doesn't perfectly match the symptom...

In older versions you could just press P (pause) and then P again to start up from the same place.

I think you may be victim of the RECORD change. Shift-Record is start a new track now and Record starts recording on the same line. Turn GAIN-2 all the way down.

Speak normally and keep turning up GAIN-1 until the little green SIG light starts to flash. Can you ever get there? Some microphone amplifiers are OK turned all the way up. That's valid.
