Re: Allow Custom Framerate Timecode

SMPTE Time Code® is not an arbitrary thing. It has very specific characteristics designed for all the television and film framerates. Adding an arbitrary one means going back through all the others to make sure you didn't break anything. Check out Drop Frame NTSC where nothing ever comes out even. T...

Re: AUP File wont open

You should be able to start from an empty screen and double click the AUP file. Everything will open by itself. If it doesn't, write down the message, we'll start investigating. This it a normal Audacity Project. Both the AUP file and the _DATA folder need to be there. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity...

More > Download , after refreshing the site, sends me here: Screen Shot 2018-09-10 at 20.36.32.png Nobody here is doing that. We're not all that interested in the post production sample, anyway for two reasons: We can't take effects out, so the best we can do is sit back and say "yup, it's bro...

Re: Clipping after RMS Normalization

I couldn't find any harsh, clipping issues just listening live. I copied a "data grab" of the first clip, no processing, and I think you have a room honk. This clip has had a "honk filter" applied starting at about 5 seconds. I guessed which voice tones are causing troubles. This...

I see SoundCloud Sign-In, Create an Account, and Upload. No Download and it does it on two different browsers.

Re: Clipping after RMS Normalization

There is the boilerplate note that we're doing this from possibly multiple time zones away and we can't see what you're doing. So there's nothing fast about this forum thing. We occasionally get posts about helping someone meet deadlines. Probably not. The forum has a highly restricted file size lim...

Re: Clipping after RMS Normalization

I'm getting pretty discouraged. Stop doing that. It's easy to go off the rails with this process. It is almost without question like nothing you've ever seen before. Last first. Frying mosquitoes doesn't respond well to Noise Reduction. 18dB of reduction is guaranteed to cause tonal sound damage—ta...

Re: Select a Scale option missing from Mac version Gsnap

Audacity support for plugins isn't perfect. In particular, if the plugin makes extensive use of graphic management, Audacity can fail to fully support it.

Re: Audacity 2.2.2 with ASIO: noticeable monitoring latency

Did anybody ever back all the way out and find why you're doing all this? As soon as I get my hands on a real sound card Or you might get your hands on a microphone interface with zero latency monitoring and not worry about recompiling Audacity. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/samsonGTrackCon...
